December 18th, during the 2021 China Conference on Rare Diseases in Beijing, the China Alliance for Rare Diseases (CHARD) and the Chinese Red Cross Foundation (CRCF) jointly initiated the "Rare Disease Mutual Assistance Fund." The "Rare Disease Mutual Aid Fund" is dedicated to improving rare disease awareness, supporting patient assistance, physician training, and rare disease-related research and development projects. 
 
To help more patients with rare diseases and promote the development of Chinese rare disease prevention and treatment, RareStone Group, as the company that provided the first batch of donations to the foundation, participated in the awarding ceremony. Changjiang Guo, CRCF President, issued a donation certificate to Shawn Xiang, Ph.D., CEO of RareStone Group, one of the representatives of the first batch of donating companies.
